hi, As I have read your description, I have made a process flow. The sender would use this software to select the reciever. Reciever must be having this software installed. Over https or SSL they will exchange mp3, mp4, flv files. files will be send to temp location. The software will be having a custom player. when the player will be stooped, the program will be ended and the file will be removed from the temp. Hi there, There are several techniques we can use to achive your goal but before we pick the best i need more information about your requirements. I am aware of the process and (under the hood) methods to download or stream media files so can be in much help if you want to protect yours. Here are some questions that comes in my mind and will be happy if we discuss them. Do you plan your files to be played in browser? Do you want to send the actual file to the user instead of just streaming it? Do you plan to have some menagment process to for giving the temporary files for example user authorization and db storage? How you imagine the process at all?
