UNIX Script Writing Support

Hi there, I am looking for someone to make enhancements to the attached script "[login to view URL]". In short this unix script, plays a "main" icecast internet radio stream via mPlayer application. If the main stream is unavailable it is to play "backup" stream, if that is unavailable it plays "backup audio files". There is a bug in the script though, that it doesn't correctly detect when the radio streams are unavailable... which means we need to the new check into the script below. NEW CHECK PART OF SCRIPT TO BE ADDED: "run the telnet command ("telnet streamURL port") against Stream 1 and if a positive response "connected" is received from then proceed to attempt playback of Stream 1 If failed, do the same telnet check on Stream 2, if a positive response "connected" is received from then proceed to attempt playback of Stream 2 If failed on stream 1 & 2, go to Backup Music and keep telnet'ing every 2 minutes to the stream URLs until they come back alive. Once they do play the stream" Don't about telnet needing authentication. This will be telnetting to a Icecast server so it just needs to yeild a response that is not failed. Can talk further on chat.
