We want to create and APP for any types of android Android Mercury App Description of the program Android Mercury. The program Main Idea: slide show picture and video who can be controlled by touch or automatic intervals to go to the next one. Also videos and pictures follow a pre setup in daily schedule controlled by day and time. And need to be update by the client using a web interface. This project is dived in 3 parts. Mercury application (Standalone) Mercury application (server to send updates pictures and videos and schedule and other settings) Mercury application (admin web page and client page) Mercury client application (Standalone) 1.- slide show pictures or slide videos. 2.- video controls are disable person who interact with app cannot turn off application. 3.- Video o pictures plays in portrait or landscape mode in full screen. Picture and video stretch to fit screen 4.- Formats jpeg, mpeg, mp4, swf, pdf, flv, bmp, mkv, 5.- video touch capabilities can be disable or enable. ( to slide pictures left to right or right to left) if it not been touch for 5 min go back to home video or picture and start again interval slide. 6.- all configuration and time schedule are store in a database or xml. 7.- Schedule video and picture by day and hours. Ex Monday to Friday a group of videos on Sat and Sun other videos in preset times. 8.- the setting can be update it accessing using ssh and replace xml or update sql database using queries 9.- all pictures and xml setting need to be in the sdcard. 10.- information in the sdcard need to be protected. Mercury Server application (remote server to send updates pictures and videos and schedule and other settings) 1.- Update database, XMLs, and Media using FTPS or SSH or POST from remote server. 2.- new media need to be downloaded from server also new setting and new behaviors and data changes. 3.- application need to access to remote every 1 min and see if there is new updates. 4.- application in server need to report when information is downloaded correctly 5.- application in server need to group all client in deferent folders. Mercury application (admin web page and client page) Creating in php js , etc and admin interface to create user who control their own client android devices. 1.- admin can upload new video and can manage time schedule of pictures and video slides. 2.- admin can create new client. 3.- clients can control their own android devices
