- Job description Web app currently rely on php based polling mechanism to give user updates of last 2 minutes. At any given time so many requests hits from server from multiple users. This make apache go on high cpu usage (once this code is disabled apache stabilizes) . Need to move to node.js to improve performance and offload the apache, utlize the power of non-blocking and async nature of node.js - Your current progress (if any) Have created basic script to connect with mysql and fetch user's activity feed from tables. - Expected deliverables same results as current php block of polling mechanism - Milestones there are 5 to 6 types of activity, we can implement it in batch of 3. - Deadline as earliest possible. won't take more than 3 hrs for expert.
