After having issues with dedicated VPS server, permissions went rouge. We need a rather simple procedure to get permissions back on track for main VPS app which is Invision Power Board 4.x. We got a very straight forward opinion from official IPB support: "Looking at your server via FTP, it seems that some folders in /uploads are owned by a different user/group than the rest. Please run a chown to ensure all these folders/files are owned by the same user/group. Please also verify that this is the same user/group that should be ran as Apache (or other web server). As there is currently a conflict which is causing your issue." It's a simple and quick task for a proper expert. Do NOT bid if you are generic expert (no disrespect); we need one who knows how to get around WHM/cPanel and IPB! Thank you.

I run a web hosting service, work here full time and have extensive server experience, so I can fix your permission issue and ensure EA4/Apache is properly configured, since the two issues go hand-in-hand. I do not have experience with Power Board, but it's just another piece of software like the hundreds I've installed/worked on over the years. No sweat.
