We prefer this script to be written in either perl or php. However it is acceptable to use any uncompiled language that runs on raspberry pi. Script will: 1. Login to IMAP server 2. Download any messages, save pdf attachments of the messages to a folder. (if no pdf simply delete message) 4. Run a command ie. "sendfax -n -d 2000 filename" 5. Delete the message. 6. Go to an IMAP idle, waiting for new messages. Whenever a new message comes in go to step 2. 7. Every 20, minutes re-idle the connection so the server does not disconnect.

Hello, Hope you're doing well, allow me to get right into it. We can use ImapLIB ([login to view URL]) To connect to any IMAP server and retrieve new messages. Afterwards we use PyFPDF ([login to view URL]) to create PDF file, insert the content of that message inside the PDF file. Then we use Python Subprocess ([login to view URL]) To execute your sendfax command. That would be my plan, and the libraries I'll be using, it's an easy project, should not more than 2 days for me to finish and you'll only have to pay me after I deliver everything. I know what I'm doing and I'm good at it, I've worked on huge projects here on Freelancer and got great feedback from my clients, feel free to check it on my profile.
