Greetings Thank you for posting a clear project description. It helped me to understand your goals for the lead checking system. My solution would contain a PHP web page that would allow the user to enter the account name and/or email. The user would then press a button to verify the existence of the lead in a MySQL database (using the content of your spreadsheet). If it exists, the user would be shown a message indicating that it is already in the database. Here are some additional features which might be useful. 1. Bulk comparison: the user can enter a large number of leads, perhaps through a web page or by importing an Excel worksheet. This saves time from entering leads one at a time. 2. Levenshtein Distance: sometimes people make spelling mistakes. This algorithm would allow us to look for close matches. Text processing is a specialty for me. Hello, I am assuming this will be desktop app. Do not encrypt the DB as decrypting could create an issue. However by programming there are ways to actually securely do that. Simply Each user will have its own table. And the comparison chart will compare those table. Field with duplicate will cause in red.

I actually understand what you are trying to do, I briefly worked as a Leads Generator and I worked on a similar system, I will suggest you to build a back-office. I can do it, My bid is for a online back-office, with your current database stored online, secured, with complete access only to you, with different kind of users permissions and easy client management. This is how I'll do it: 1. Import the current database (or part of it) on a webhosting, possibly cloud 2. Build a secure login page, I'll also manually ad a some sort of security layer (I'll explain) 3. If the Leads generator logins, he/she will be able to see the forms for generating new leads and if needed managing the old ones generated by him/her 4. If You login, you will see all the leads generated by every Leads Generator, you will be able to edit/update/delete every lead, client or agent. -This back-office can be extended further, with more detailed client/agent/sells management or modules as emailing, pdf creation, file uploading (scanned documents, tickets) If you like my idea, PM me
