We need you to be local to Bayswater Melbourne. We need a product design engineer/mechanical engineer. We are a factory in Bayswater Victoria. We produce steel trailers - welded product with electricals & hydraulics - as well as fibre glass trailers with plumbing and electricals. We want to document to the nth degree our "engineering" standards. Specifically, to lift our brand compliance we want to prepare a set of auditable guidelines that our users can follow. This is Job #1. Job #2 is to prepare standard for build of the same products in China. Our volume growth is such that we may need to have dual production - both here and overseas. So we want to be able to send over detailed specs that they can follow. We'd expect that a mechanical engineer could do the bulk of the work. We think that Solidworks, the CAD program we use, is a good basis. But we'd prefer a great job beyond the limitations of our knowledge. If you are suitably qualified, we'd like to hear from you and see your credentials and portfolio of work. Then we'd introduce you to the key production people and you deliver. We prefer quality over speed but we are keen to push ahead with this.
