simple powershell script to select a file and replace

I would like a simple script created where it looks at a folder with files. e.g f1-home & f1-office. there are also files that relate to them, so g1-home & g2-home. if the user selects f1-home then this file will copy and overwrite a file called [login to view URL] in folder x and also copy and write over a file called [login to view URL] in another folder. so each time they run the script it should give them an option to select an f1- file and perform the task mentioned above. thanks
