We have a cross-platform Qt 5 (C++) app that is used in production by a number of users, over a number of years. We are looking for an expert Qt developer to add several pending features, and continue to evolve the app. It would be beneficial if you have experience with Windows development, especially of interop to Office via COM. Whilst we also support Ubuntu and macOS, the windows platform-specific code, on average, tends to demand the most attention. The developer in charge of the project is moving to a new project. As part of handover, we have added further unit tests, and created detailed/verified build instructions and comments (where useful). The app uses common libraries for auto-update, logging, crash reporting and so forth. We have an initial burst of pending work initially, and then expect a smaller volume of hours being required going forward. If you are proficient in other skills/languages and interested in other projects, please mention in your responses. We prefer candidates in Europe or Asia time zone (we are in UTC+8)

I've experienced using Qt on Windows primarily, & Ubuntu (when using Linux). I've seen Office interop in Win32 too. For unit testing, most recently I had work using Catch2. Will you please let me know if any milestones are already identified? I do development with C++, while engineering native solutions. How soon should this be done?

Hello, I am well experienced in Qt C++ - cross platform with hands on work on all (Windows/Ubuntu and macOS), well to be exact I never worked directly on the office COM interface with Qt, but it all depends on the scope/volume and current approach.
