I have one web site that I would like data scraped from. The site contains a form. Three fields (2 optional) will need to be populated. After submission the site displays matching results. If there are no results, then return “no match”. If there are multiple results, then return “multiple matches”. If there is a single match, the crawler program will need to follow the details link and scrape some data from the detail screen. Please review the attached [login to view URL] file for details of the site and the required data. The deliverable will be a well-structured C# windows application that allows the user to enter a 3 fields (2 optional) and returns and displays the result. Clean well-documented code, optimized for speed is required. In your response, please indicate how you plan to extract the data and how long you expect this to take. I would like to get started on this as soon as possible, so please provide your most competitive bid.

I'm expert in web scraping with HUNDREDS of completed projects that's why I'm sure you'll be impressed with my work. I can create simple GUI program in C# which will have three fields like you want (Company Name, Province/Territory and City) and Start button. After user clicks button it will make search on remote website, parse response and return it back to the user (No Match, Multiple Matches or if we have single match it will parse additional data from HTML). Actually it will be pretty easy C# program using HttpWebRequest and HTML Agility Pack (to parse HTML) -- nothing complicated... You have pretty good project description so all I need to clarify is how to show final result to the user. I mean Match/No Match messages (I think about MessageBox) and Primary Industry information (I can copy this value to the Clipboard for example or save it to the file). Thanks. Roman

Hi, I can do this in C# using Selenium. I have recently done a very similar application. But when I visit the website it shows me an error: "An error occurred that could not be handled by the application." If this can be resolved, I can finish it in 1-2 days at most.
