I need help with setting up and getting my software to work with my arduino machine/project. I have had the code written already but its not working. I need help with getting my stepper motor to measurement to length an object per steps and getting the measurement message to the arduino thru bluetooth. Lets just say, I need the stepper motor to measure 2ft 5". I will send the arduino a message of 2ft 5" and then I need the stepper motor to turn until it reaches 2ft 5" in the equaled amount of steps to the motor() You will need to have a arduino board, breaker beam, linear actuator, and a stepper motor to help with this project and be able to start asap with good communication. Hello Do you need that distance customizable or fixed? As I understand, your optical sensor used to determine a "zero" position? In that case, what is a purpose of the linear actuator? Dou you use any specific stepper driver device? If so - may ask you about it's model?
