Windows color inverter

Hi, I need a "color inverter" for windows. For reference, check the built in "magnifier" software (Programs -> Accesories --> Accesibility --> Magnifier). There is an "invert colors" option in magnifier. The inverter software I want should run in background (a single click button somewhere in taskbar to invert/un-invert colors). It should run continuously, without affecting normal mouse or keyboard operations. It should be optimized for efficiency (use hardware acceleration if possible, and it should not consume high CPU/memory). ---- The reason I want is to reduce eye-strain. There is another free software which does what I want, but doesn't support my graphics card :(. Mine is an office machine so I cant change graphics card, hence want someone to develop a robust software which will work on main version of windows (XP/Vista/7) and also support most graphics card. To test the functionality with the free software: Search for "Power Strip Download" in Google. In Powere strip, selec "color profiles" --> Invert colors. Also check the box "Write directly to pallete DAC. Most likely it will work on your machine (works on my home laptop).
