Hi, I have a old VB project which i believe is coded using VB version 2008 and i also believe you have to use this version to compile it. I need one small change: Currently product list frm box can not display Chinese characters. This POS software uses an Microsoft access as database. The database can enter Chinese. Only the diplay form box currently will show [] [] [] instead of Chinese words. I need you to change the form box so it can display. Please see attached graphic and you will understand. Please do not bid with chunk of your profile, just birefly tell me what you understand and what you will do. I will provide you source code only after you are selected programmer. When you complete, you must submit with full amended source code and compiled exe file. Time frame to complete should not take more than 24 hours. Will have more projects on this software if you can give me a good price and fast speed. Thank You

Hello. It looks like there is trouble with code pages. Looks like your default code page is not chinese and VB6 has known trouble with unicode strings. There is needed to change to Unicode Windows API call in order to draw this tring correctly.

It needs to be first tested with a small POC - you can try to check if the Access data when exported to xls is showing that character. if not then this can be solved using a simple font installation.
