I am looking for an up-to-the-minute, interactive community site. [login to view URL] has existed since 2007 but needs bringing up to date. Please see [login to view URL] as a base idea. Although [login to view URL] looks old-fashioned, it is presented neatly and is fairly easy to navigate and has some excellent functionaliity. [login to view URL] needs to be more modern, classy and feature-rich with varying display formats. There will need to be a CMS (wysiwyg) editor and a comprehensive ‘back office’. This is a big project requiring consummate programming skills and imaginative design, presentation and graphic artist skills. Please take some time to read the brief and only bid if you have the relevant skills and can deliver in a reasonable time-frame (6 – 8 weeks). I have attached some basic ideas to give you an idea of what I'm looking for. I will require the following. Site search Business Directory Feature Ads PAY PER CLICK or STATIC MONTHLY PAYMENT (to kick in after 3 months). Special Offers – links to current discount deals from local businesses Fully interactive Events Calendar (members can post events) Please see [login to view URL] Scrolling site news panel i.e. ‘rose322 posted to Special Occasions’ Member Accounts with ability to interact with site from their area Members who are also business owners, able to enter and edit their own info to Featured Ads (inc image uploading to slide-show) with choice of PAY PER CLICK or static monthly payment terms. Find out What’s On – integrated with interactive calendar Members able to post public events. Used items – buy & sell Sale of private used cars Advertise rental properties Advertise property sales Job Vacancies Local club entries and info Local charities entries & info Pet Patrol (lost & found pets – pets that need rehoming) Members can self-post with image and info. Hemel Bands. Bands have a public profile page inc image, video, audio, write up and comments. Community News & Views (Members can post news, recommendations for eating out etc) Separate section for Takeaway/Restaurant menus. (these would need to be scanned in by admin) Family Occassions e.g. Birthdays, Anniversaries etc In Memoriam. Monthly photo contest. Winner’s photo to be featured prominently on home page for 1 month. Reader submitted articles on local community (these to be moderated before publication) Attractive graphics to accompany features preferably integrating the ‘GO’ logo. Social site integration – Facebook/Twitter etc
