We just installed a SSL on our website. The CSS & images worked fine with the previous 'http', but they will not display with 'https' so we need help fixing this. I searched this issue online and found people suggested disabling Hotlink Protection. This is already disabled so it is not the cause of the issue. I also found other posts where people suggested using Protocol Relative URL's, but this did not seem to work either.

Hello, I could look into this one. It is obvious that you are a trusted member of the community. I don't mind sharing a few tips. If your site is on wordpress, there are known issues with SSL (check for URL for site address and wordpress adress in general settings). Also, try one absolute link in your css (with HTTPS) to see what will happen. Also, make sure that your .htaccess file is updated. Let me know if I can help you with this bug. Cheers, Alex.
