Hey there! I need help on a VERY simple fix. I have a Wordpress Directory site which has the directory listings displayed as thumbnails on the homepage in a carousel. These thumbnails are supposed to link out to the site that was submitted to the directory. Right now, they are going nowhere. The site is in DirectoryPress and it was originally modified to have the homepage link out to these sites. For some reason, it is not doing that now. I do have another install of this on another site where it is working properly, so you'll be able to get the link working right. Once you do this for me, I'll then have more work, copying this fixed directory to other domains. That will be a separate project. Please put the word DIRECTORY in your bid. That way I'll know you read this, you can do the work, and I'll know you follow directions. If you don't do this, I'll ignore the bid, knowing you didn't pay attention.

DIRECTORY Hi there! My name is Greta (from Texas). Most of the Websites and Applications we build are WP based Custom themes and Plugins. If the implementation of your directory is working as you wish on one install, but not in the other, I would need links to both sites and administrator access (temporarily of course) in order to investigate. Once I can determine what the actual cause is I can commence with the fix. Either way the data for the external links is in the database so ensuring the click/link behavior you are expecting should be no issue. FTP or server side access would subsequently be needed to “implement” the fix. (Or I can provide you with instructions of what to replace where). Based on your description of the issue I can probably resolve the issue in just a few days. Although, flexibility would need to be agreed should the root cause of the issue be more elusive to discover. (I figure a band-aid is not necessarily the best way to solve the problem if you intend to utilize the same “theme” on multiple installs.) Which I would be most happy to assist with as well.
