Source Language: English (US) Target Language: Galician Word Count: 165 strings, 386 words Please do not start translating files without completely reading and understanding everything in this description, including the google document. Overview: [login to view URL] is a global online business directory. We are looking for a native Galician speaker who can translate and localize our English websites. Only human translations are allowed on this project. Machine translation of any kind are not acceptable. Strings that need to be translated appear on the various parts of our website and our mobile app. Translations must be done in a business and a formal tone. Programming knowledge is not required for this project and translations should be fairly straight forward. Please briefly describe your background (your native language, proficiency in languages, etc.) and any relevant experience. Embedded Variables There are two types of embedded variables in this project: Python string formatting and HTML tags. Both embedded variables must be left untranslated. In order to open these files, you will need to download and install Poedit: [login to view URL] It is available on Windows, Mac OSX and Linux, it is very user friendly. HI there, A good translator knows when to be literal and when to adapt the content to fit the language and culture of the target audience. My goal is to provide a new text that conveys the same ideas as the original, but that can also stand alongside it as an independent document of the same quality or better. I am willing to make as many revisions as the client requires until he or she is satisfied.
