Seeking native-level linguists for immediate placement onsite a Fortune 500 client in Cupertino Job Functions: Performing localization & functional tests Performing localization & translation Reporting, tracking and verifying bugs Creating necessary documents such as glossary, etc Other job related tasks assigned as necessary by internal managers, clients and producers. Job Requirements: 1 yr of QA testing experience, preferably with Internet online multi-media distribution/consumption services and/or iOS/OS X apps 1 yr of translation/localization, preferably with Internet online multi-media distribution/consumption services and/or iOS/OS X appsExcellent native level linguistic knowledge/ability (grammar, vocabulary, composition, punctuations, etc) Understanding of cultural/linguistic nuances and political correctness for respective language/country Tech savviness, intermediate-level skills with iOS/OS X devices, spreadsheet, text editor Excellent communication skills, ability to communicate and collaborate with clients, producers, internal managers and co-testers Ability to understand and follow instructions Location : South Bay 100% onsite, 5 day/ week. Need own transportation. Our client is a Fortune 500 company in the South Bay We offer competitive salary and great perks Candidates to be screened through a 3 level testing process : phone screening, short translation test and an onsite full day, hands on trial.
