I have completed a double major in French and Spanish with Certificates in Translation Studies for both French and Spanish and have been working as both a volunteer and freelance translator for over a year. Due to an exceptional historical environment (Mauritius), French is my native language, and English, my educational and professional language for +40 years now. Having put this particularity at my advantage, I now enjoy 16 years experience in two-way, bilingual translation and simultaneous interpretation, together with excellent bilingual writing skills, proofreading and editing. I have been providing services to international bodies like the IOC (Indian Ocean Commission) and am presently offering same to a small American enterprise.
